UBCO Health Sciences Centre
UBC Okanagan Health Science Centre was a Construction Management project for the construction of a medical school at UBC in Kelowna.
The building is a three-storey concrete structure (columns, walls, slabs and roof) with an overall building area of approximately 4,450 m2. The exterior shell is comprised of curtain wall glazing, brick, concrete walls, metal cladding and membrane roofing. The facility serves students and staff with administrative space, a lecture hall, and science labs (web, dry and gross anatomy).
This building was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
