The single storey health care center consisted of treatment rooms, counselling offices, a dental clinic and a circular traditional healing room. The building was wood framed and the use wood was carried through to the interior finishes. Cedar clad interior walls and ceiling framing were used throughout the facility. The exterior consisted of cedar siding with exposed heavy timbers combined with the use of aluminum cladding.
The structure included an exposed beam roof system that was designed to incorporate the look of a traditional cedar log canoe.
