SANDSPIT SEARCH AND RESCUE STATION

Sandspit, BC

 

This project consists of the construction of a two storey wood frame Search and Rescue Facility for Fisheries and Oceans Canada at Sandspit, BC. The building on the water includes offices, living quarters, a workshop and apparatus bays for rescue equipment. The siding consisted of western red cedar finished with grey bleaching oil to achieve a consistent natural weathered silver grey finish.
